Detailed introduction of T0-T10 state of aluminum sheet

T state is one of the 5 main states of the aluminum plate, the 6 series of the T state of the product is the most. T state on behalf of the aluminum plate after heat treatment to achieve a stable state, according to different time, different processing technology, T state has been subdivided into a lot of sub state, on behalf of the aluminum plate with different properties. T0 state: after solid solution heat treatment, by natural aging and then through the state of cold processing. Products suitable for cold working to improve strength.

T1 state: by the high temperature molding process cooling, and then natural aging to the basic stable state. The product is suitable for the product which is cooled by high temperature forming process and is no longer cold working (can be used for straightening and leveling, but does not affect the mechanical properties limit).

T2 state: by the high temperature molding process cooling, after cold processing natural aging to the basic stable state. The product is suitable for cold working, or straightening and leveling to improve the strength of the product after cooling by the high temperature forming process.

T3 state: after solid solution heat treatment, cold working, and then through natural aging to the basic stable state, it is suitable for cold working, or straightening. To improve the strength of the product.

T4 state: after solution heat treatment, the natural aging to a stable state. Applicable to solid solution heat treatment, no longer cold processing (can be straightened, leveling, but does not affect the mechanical properties of the limit) of the product.

T5 state: by the high temperature molding process cooling, and then the state of artificial aging. The product is suitable for cooling by high temperature forming process and not by cold working, but can be used for straightening and leveling, but does not affect the mechanical properties of the products.

T6 state: the state of artificial aging after solid solution heat treatment. Applicable to solid solution heat treatment, not in the cold processing (can be carried out straightening, leveling, but does not affect the mechanical properties of the limit) of the product.

T7 states: similar to T6.

T8 state: after solid solution heat treatment, cold working, and then the state of artificial aging. The product is suitable for cold working, or straightening and leveling to improve the strength of the product.

T9 state: after solid solution heat treatment, artificial aging, and then the state of cold processing. Products suitable for cold working to improve strength.

T10 state: after the high temperature molding process, cold processing, and then the state of artificial aging. The product is suitable for cold working, or straightening and leveling to improve the strength of the product.

What is solid solution heat treatment?

The solid solution heat treatment refers to the alloy is heated to a high temperature single phase region to keep the constant temperature, so that the intermediate phase is fully dissolved into the solid solution after rapid cooling, in order to obtain the process of saturated solid solution.

What is natural aging?

What is artificial aging?

Artificial aging, refers to the workpiece is heated to a certain temperature, after a long time of heat preservation (5-20 hours) with the furnace cooling, or in the air cooling.
